The canceled GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is expected to be released under the designation GeForce RTX 4080 with 12 GB of memory. Nvidia indicated an inappropriate name as a reason for canceling the second version of the GeForce RTX 4080, and now it has been changed.

Accordingly, the characteristics of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will correspond to the GeForce RTX 4080 with 12 GB of memory. That is, we are waiting for a full-featured AD104 GPU with 7680 CUDA cores and 12 GB GDDR6X memory with a 192-bit bus. The TDP of the 3D card is expected at the level of the previous 285 W. But the price may change. Nvidia planned to sell the GeForce RTX 4080 with 12GB of memory for $900, but the official GeForce RTX 3070 Ti cost at the start of sales is only $600. It goes without saying that the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti should be closer to its predecessor in terms of price.
